Crochet has yet to evolve a standardised language in the way that knitting has. In this book a bobble is described as comprising 4 open trebles with the yarn drawn through the 5 loops left on the hook. The previous book described them as 4 trebles together. I can’t even remember how any of the other previous books described them.
This was a very straightforward pattern that was enjoyable in its simplicity. The resulting square is pleasing to the eye both because of its simple design and its use of texture.
