Here is another of Melbourne’s famous street art laneways, Blender Lane. As I said in a previous post, this “What’s on” Victorian website has maps and resources for anyone who wants to explore these laneways. There is also a Blender Studio website with a bit of history about Melbourne street art. It also contains links to street art tours run by street artists.
These photographs were taken in March 2020 just as the city was shutting down from the global pandemic. They form a part of my “Travel Vicariously With Me” pandemic time travel series.
Street art can be ephemeral and this magnificent koala used to adorn the tin fence at the end of the alley. The alley now leads to a building site and the fence is not more.
Are you stuck in a pandemic travel ban? Memory Lane Time Travelling Agency is the only way to go. Time travel vicariously with me as I tour the famous Melbourne street art laneways.
